Currently when deploying a CE node you configure the DNS servers up front, but there is no method through the XC console or local CE console to change them after the fact. We need to be able to change DNS servers after deployment of CE nodes. Some Enterprises with more complex routing need to add static routes in order to reach certain things like internal DNS servers, and since you cannot set a static route for CE nodes until after they're registered this presents an issue.
