When a new site is deployed in XC, while the software version is automatically upgraded, the OS version isn't. It would seem appropriate to have newly deployed sites be as up-to-date as possible on first deployment.

I would like to see an option in the console, and in the Terraform provider, to request the OS version be upgraded at the point a site is deployed.
